Responsibilities:

We are looking for highly motivated trade qualified people to join our assessing team in Metropolitan Queensland for full time, permanent positions.

You will use your technical expertise to assess motor vehicles to ensure a fair and reasonable claim outcome, as well as provide an exceptional level of communication and service to our customers and smash repair network. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers and the motor vehicle repair industry.

  • This role is about making a difference and having a meaningful impact to our customers.
  • The position requires you to work flexibly across various locations including our assessing sites, smash repairers, office and home and may require rotational rostered hours within our teams.
  • In addition to all IAG benefits, the position provides a tool of trade vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess motor vehicle claims, inspect damage, and use your trade experience and training to determine fair and reasonable repair costs and ensure the correct method of repair and settlement is established. • Provide an extremely high level of customer service. Relationship building and people interaction are a large part of this role.

  • Complete vehicle quality inspections and other tasks associated with motor vehicle assessing.
  • You must be a team player and willing to learn and work collaboratively both in office and out in the field.
  • Problem solve issues between IAG and our customers and repairers to establish fair and reasonable outcomes.
