HE ANGITŪTANGA | THE OPPORTUNITY
We have three opportunities available.
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Motor Claims Assessor to join our team in New Zealand. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of motor insurance policies and procedures.
The purpose of this position is to contribute to the successful digital assessing of MAS Members motor vehicle claims, working with suppliers to manage the repair of motor vehicles and managing costs to ensure that repair costs are controlled by following a robust and fair process. You will also agree on valuations for total loss vehicles at the same time as reducing claims life cycles.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of motor insurance policies and procedures. Being a good communicator is a must, and a team player who understands that the role is part of the larger claims process where their expertise can help the claims team drive the service delivery that MAS are recognized for, whilst at the same time looking for ways to improve from the status quo.
