Moulding / Tooling Technician

BASED – MANSFIELD TYPE: PERMANENT POSITION

The ideal candidate will have a background in Injection Moulding and also a strong understanding of Tooling – including inspection, plate-work and other materials used within the injection moulding process.
Applicants should have the combined ability to both operate injection moulding equipment to manufacture moulded parts, whilst also having an understanding of tooling – including knowledge of strip and rebuilding of tools, PPM, dimensional inspection and the capability to read technical drawings.
A progressive role, the successful candidate will also help with the learning and development of team members and be encouraged to actively participate in the establishment and development of new procedures and functions.
Candidates should be confident in helping to develop others and be an active team player with the ability to plan mould runs including the preparation for tool and material changes to increase efficiencies.

In addition to other company benefits the starting salary for this post will be £30 -£35k per annum dependent on knowledge and previous work experiences.
