MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• At least 2 years of MRI Radiology experience
• Current State Radiologic Technologist License required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The MRI Radiologic Technologist performs routine radiographic examinations to patients of all ages consistently demonstrating knowledge and practice of radiation safety. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Imaging Department. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policies and procedures and skills check lists.
