Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of modern office equipment including fax machines , copiers, scanners, document management software, Electronic Medical Record, medical software, word processing software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Knowledge of common health insurance plans and benefits.
EXPERIENCE

- Technical/other training or better in Radiology

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors video display of the area being scanned and adjust density or contrast to improve picture quality
- Explains the procedure to the patient and position and immobilize the patient on the exam table.
- Uses radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff.
- Reviews and evaluates computer generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
