MICROSOFT BUSINESS CENTRAL (WITH LS RETAIL) TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

Join our dynamic and vibrant team in Ireland, where you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing and optimising Business Central and LS Retail solutions for our clients. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in the implementation, customisation, and optimisation of their solutions, ensuring they derive maximum value from their technology investments. You will play a key role, as part of our delivery team, in understanding our clients’ business requirements and translating them into effective and robust technology solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3rd Level (University) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a MS Business Central with LS Retail Consultant or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with configuring, customising, and implementing Business Central with LS Retail solutions.
  • Passionate about technology and delivering top quality solutions.
  • Ideally, possess relevant certifications such as MB-800 Business Central Functional Consultant, CF-300 LS Central for retail or similar.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with delivery methodologies such as Agile or Scrum, would be an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimisation of Business Central/LS Retail solutions.
  • Understanding of retail business processes and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a strong team player.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to be present in the office one day per week.

  • Collaborate with clients to analyse business processes, requirements, and objectives, and provide guidance on how to leverage Business Central/LS Retail.
  • Configure and implement Business Central/LS Retail solutions, including customisations, integrations, and extensions.
  • Conduct system assessments, identify gaps, and devise strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clients’ existing systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients’ end-users on the effective use of Business Central/LS Retail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system testers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with vendors and third-party providers for additional support or integrations.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and features in Business Central/LS Retail and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Offering recommendations on best practices and industry standards in relation to Business Central/LS Retail and related technologies.
  • Participating in pre-sales activities, such as solution demonstrations and proposal development.
