As the IT Multi Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the new Cloud environment for Syensqo as well as the impact on existing on premise ecosystem . This is a unique opportunity to architect and shape the future of our cloud strategy

Accountabilities and responsibilities:

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collect and study the needs of business teams, analyze and map the existing situation in its entirety;
• Design robust, scalable and secure Cloud architectures in collaboration with project teams;
• Participate in the migration and modernization of applications to the cloud;
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and management processes;
• Ensure technological monitoring of cloud developments and make recommendations.
• Arbitrate cloud decisions ensuring the security and reliability of our global IT infrastructure.
• Design solutions that can easily scale to accommodate growing workloads and traffic
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and efficiency
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes
• Use strong communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Develop infrastructure strategies, creating intelligent infrastructure designs, and providing solution architecture guidance.
• Support new technology implementation within a multi cloud ecosystem

Experience, Skills & Behaviours

• Indicate the required education in terms of minimum years of education, required type of degree, field of studies, etc. and the required knowledge and/or experience in terms of minimum years of experience in the respective field
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications would be a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a leadership and technical role focused on Cloud management, preferably in a multinational complex setting.
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing Cloud strategies for large user bases.

Cybersecurity Expertise:

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of encryption, identity management, access controls, and other security measures within cloud environments.
• Experience in managing complex technology migrations and lifecycle management.
• Project management skills to plan and execute cloud-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Agile or other project management methodologies experience is a plus
• AWS & AZUR experience is a plus
