Description:

Could you provide support to victims of crime and empower them to overcome the emotional, psychological and practical effects of crime?

Responsibilities:

DEPENDING ON YOUR ROLE, YOU COULD BE:

  • Contacting victims of crime and helping them to overcome the effects of crime, via face to face, video, or telephone support
  • Advising them on the Criminal Justice System and helping them to navigate through it
  • Identifying situations where the individual should be referred to alternative support networks
  • Sending in reports to the line manager to keep records up to date
  • Providing some administrative support to local teams if required
  • Writing letters to local organisations to raise funds
  • Inputting data on our Case Management System
