Description:
The opportunity: In your role as Multi-site Health & Safety Officer, you will be directly responsible for the coordination and execution of all Health & Safety responsibilities. Your main duties include:
- Ensure that all safety legislation is adhered to and best practice principles and policies are adopted throughout the sites by implementing and maintaining a robust Safety system in line with the WestRock Safety Excellence System.
- Assist the sites in planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the protective and preventative measures require to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.
- Take the lead with any H&S issue at site and ensure that all staff are complying with the company procedures.
