Job Description
Due to continued UK expansion plans, Søstrene Grene is looking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated, and driven Multisite Manager who will assist with opening new stores and support the Area Manager to successfully manage a group of existing stores.
Your role will be to support the Area Manager to ensure store teams are operating and trading successfully.
You will bring your experience and skillset of fast-paced, multi-site management to successfully assist the Area Manager to ensure consistency of operational standards, drive KPIs and exceed sales targets.
The Multisite Manager role will step in, and cover business-critical store management roles in the event of absences and must be fully experienced in all aspects of the day to day running of the stores.
This is an active and varied role so you must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated. You will be required to contribute and add value to the growth and operational strategy of the business and be flexible in your approach to travel and work tasks.
Frequent travel is essential.

As Multisite Manager you will have responsibility for:

  • Supporting the Area Manager to successfully operate a group of stores and ensure staff are trained and motivated to exceed sales targets and customer expectations.
  • Supporting and/or leading new teams for the 2-week period before store opening to deliver a successful store opening.
  • Follow up support for new stores; being on site after store opening to ensure the team is fully trained & supported in daily tasks and successfully able to operate the store to company standards.
  • Being a senior point of contact for store managers in your area.
  • Covering absences in stores where required, particularly Store Manager absences. When a store is without a Store Manager, the Multisite Manager will cover this business-critical role.
  • Ongoing training and motivating a team of existing and new store managers.
  • Ensuring consistency of standards and store presentation across the stores.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Area Manager and make practical recommendations to increase performance. Follow up with stores to ensure recommendations have been implemented.
  • Supporting efficient and accurate annual stock counts in your stores.
  • Assist the Area Manager with setting clear directions for underperforming stores and continuing to motivate and drive successful stores to even higher achievements.
  • Supporting & developing store managers to successfully run their stores to grow L4L each year.
  • Planning and supporting the Area Manager and store managers for peak trading periods in all areas of retail – seasonal recruitment, efficient rosters, out of hours replenishment, driving sales, stock ordering, smooth operations.
  • Implementing and maintaining high stock management standards.
  • Drive customer service standards across all levels of store staff.
  • Supporting the successful roll out of new procedures and efficiencies across stores.
  • People management and training

Candidate’s Profile

  • Previous multi-site management experience in a fast-paced, busy retail environment.
  • Proven, strong understanding of retail, staff, business costs, seasonal retail, merchandising, store standards, operational standards.
  • Expertise in retail operational standards.
  • Flexible in your approach to work and the needs of the business
  • Resilient with a can-do attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • IT proficient and able to quickly learn in house systems and use company apps.
  • Organised, structured & solutions oriented.
  • Able to work independently and lead a team.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a hands-on approach to work tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a very fast-paced, productive environment.
  • Requires frequent travel throughout the UK so must be able and willing to travel.
