Description:
This role will undertake diagnostic testing and related duties following Pathology Queensland established accredited protocols and standards within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Apply high level knowledge, skills, and experience to multi-specialist duties within the work unit with minimal clinical practice supervision out of hours.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of diagnostic testing and clinical interpretation of results within a multi-disciplinary laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and contribute a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to apply established principles to a multidiscipline service with provision of results and clinical advice in a client focused manner.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognised university or tertiary institution.
