POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Multifamily Credit Policy Analyst will support the Credit Policy team in reporting on credit assessment of loans originated for Freddie Mac’s Multifamily platform and in Credit Policy development. The Analyst will apply job knowledge, company policies and principles, and critical thinking to complete assigned tasks accurately, completely, independently, and in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Up to 2 years of experience (prior experience in multifamily or commercial real estate industry preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, public policy, risk management, government, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, organizational, communication, and business writing skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Curiosity and interest in multifamily and commercial real estate
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Ability to perform market research on products, competitors, and commercial real estate industry trends
