Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe. With a strong, Front to Back expertise in the cash and derivatives markets, coupled by an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart and efficient solutions.

We are seeking Murex MxML Consultant to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s global system implementations with key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain the workflow designed in Murex
• Analyze, design and develop key business initiatives surrounding MxML Workflow
• Remediate, fix any existing issues which may arise from Murex
• Mainly focus on initiatives involving Java Programming and MxML Exchange
• Provide prompt accurate responses, and build up relationships with stakeholders and resent Murex design on working groups/committees/projects impacting the Murex

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree from Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as Murex MxML Developer
• Familiar with Java Programming Skill, SQL, Unix and Shell Scripting and Oracle Database
• Strong at Architecture/System Design
• Familiar with Trade workflows, confirmation, settlement management, reporting configuration
• Experience with external interfaces like Reuters, Bloomberg’s etc…
• Good knowledge in Treasury Capital Markets
• A strong proven track record of client servicing. Understand customer needs and build effective relationships
• Strong time management skills and demonstrable probem solving/ analytical skills
