We are currently seeking a Museum Research Assistant to support our Museum team in an exciting new project – redevelopment of the RBA Museum exhibition. This role will have you working closely with the Bank’s Curator to identify information sources, archival objects and external media assets. This position is a one-year fixed term contract.

Your contribution to the team:

  • Researching a wide range of resources for new concept areas.
  • Presenting to stakeholders on research findings.
  • Sourcing objects and media assets.
  • Identifying copyright holders.
  • Maintaining a register of copyright information.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Applied knowledge in research integrity and ethics.
  • Experience in a museum or cultural institution would be highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of copyright.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Great attention to detail.
