ABOUT THE ROLE:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Provisional Fellow within the Department of Anaesthesia, Pain and Perioperative Medicine.
As a Provisional Fellow, you will provide anaesthesia and pain management services with consultant supervision as appropriate to your level of experience.
In this role you will participate in educational and quality improvement activities as directed and required by the Director of Anaesthesia and the Supervisor of Training or their delegates.
Provisional Fellows must demonstrate satisfactory progress in acquiring advanced knowledge and skills in anaesthesia.
You may accrue up to 24 months of ANZCA accredited training time at both Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals.
As a Provisional Fellow, you will be expected to take on additional teaching, administrative and/or research duties relevant to the direction of your Fellowship.
This vacancy will be filled by 2x 6 month placements.
As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
