The purpose of the Iwi and Community Group is to foster and enable strong Iwi and Community partnerships and prevention outcomes.
The Integrated Safety Response (ISR), Whāngaia Ngā Pā Harakeke and the Family Harm multi-agency response programmes places whānau/family’s needs, risks and strengths at the centre of decision making and problem solving. The Family Harm integrated multi-agency response programmes is a way of working together that is supported by dedicated staffing and infrastructure. The models include a daily Safety Assessment Meeting (SAM) with representatives from government and non-government agencies participating. These teams consider all new police reports of family harm, cases of prisoners being released back into the community who are identified as being at high risk of perpetrating family harm, and whānau and families identified by partner agencies at risk of Family Harm.
To support the delivery of these outcomes the Family Safety System (FSS) National Administrator will provide administration and project assistance to the Senior Practice & Case Management System Advisor.
The position will assist with FSS help desk support, training packages, process documents and administrative duties.
