Description:

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Experience and understanding of business development
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Managing and delivering top and bottom line sales in line with distribution and channel strategies
  • Experienced in working with retailers at Head quarter and Store level
  • Experienced in building relationships with retailers for the benefit of the total business
  • Ability to analyse sales, competitor and market data in order to make recommendations for the business
  • Experience in meeting budgeted sales and profit growth targets
  • Experience in P&L accountability
  • 2-5 years experience in an account management / retail facing role
  • Strong Negotiation Skills and reasoning are key
  • Ability to understand strategic objectives of the business and develop / implement appropriate plans that deliver to targets set.
  • Generate and initiate ideas through excellent marketing understanding.
  • Collaboration and teamwork are essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Relationship builder with impact and the ability to influence
  • Proven success in managing a number of projects to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and analyse the market and sales data, along with a creative flair are essential.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Managing total Market (Benelux) and thus meeting budgeted sales and profit targets. Develop strategic plans that ensure Molton Brown partners with our customers and that sales for Molton Brown are maximised. The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to make a difference and will recognise the strength of the Molton Brown brand in helping them achieve this.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • To drive sales and profit of Molton Brown
  • To develop and accurate forecast and stretch plans
  • Build relationships with accounts, both at Store Level and Headquarter, to maximize business growth and opportunities
  • To work with marketing team. Help to execute brand strategies that will drive continued aggressive growth of total brand
  • To formulate a strategic year plan within set budgets and return on investment
  • To generate creative ideas to drive business growth (out of box/strategic thinking)
  • To report back to team and on a weekly and quarterly basis
  • Take active part in monthly team meetings
  • Awareness of in country strategic objectives and priorities
  • To drive excellent execution for launches at Store level
  • Train in store staff to understand key brand benefits to support sales / enable access to training for store staff.
  • Setting plans and direction for Store visit
