ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a driven and passionate National Account Manager to help deliver long-term, profitable growth for the British Paints business. Working closely with the British Paints Channel Business Manager and our exclusive Retail Customer partner, Bunnings, the National Account Manager plays a crucial role in the short and long term success of this much known and loved paint brand, as well as leading category-wide strategic projects (beyond British Paints) to secure the long term success of our Retail paints business.
Working in a highly collaborative environment, with a diverse set of stakeholders across the Retail Leadership Team, Marketing, Field Sales, Finance, Operations and R&D – and of course Bunnings - this role offers a broad scope of influence and is critical to driving the success of the Bunnings-exclusive brand portfolio – including British Paints, Walpamur and Spring. With the support of a strong and passionate team, and the autonomy to run the business as your own, this role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the Dulux Retail business, and build a highly valuable, commercial skillset. Your only limitation is your imagination!
We’re proud to represent market-leading, trusted brands and products, and we’re looking for someone who shares that pride. If you’re energised by working alongside team mates who have the same passion and drive as you, we want to hear from you.
DuluxGroup is proudly an equal opportunity employer. Talent is our only criteria. Let us know by emailing Duluxcareers@duluxgroup.com.au if you require any adjustments to the recruitment process so we can support you to present your best self.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial management – Deliver gross sales, volume and profitability growth for the business. Own the financial planning cycle and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Key account management – foster a strong relationship with our Bunnings Buying Team, and other key Bunnings departments to deliver favourable outcomes for our business.
  • Grow in-store advocacy – lead a team of British Paints Brand Champions, and the broader Retail Field Sales Team to execute brand advocacy driving activities in stores to ensure Bunnings Team Members recommend British Paints
  • Grow Trade Sales – develop and implement trade growth strategy to attract more multi-trade customers to shop with British Paints.
