To kick start the year, we are looking for a well-rounded and commercially focussed National Account Manager to join us. This NAM role will look after our largest contract therefore is a great career move.

As the National Account Manager your role is to drive business development to deliver sales and financial targets. There is a strong commercial and analytic focus to this role, and while varied here are some of the key areas of the role

  • Strategy - How we utilise our resources to improve our business
  • Developing and implementing promotional program in line with company strategy and guardrails
  • Developing a customer profile, including cost modelling to maximise sales performance within key financial measures
  • Identify tactical opportunities to drive incremental growth for the GF product portfolio
  • Execute with excellence the various product, pricing, promotional and category strategies of the business.
  • Management of forecasting, demand reviews, accruals, Promax and other promotional tools, as appropriate
  • Conduct regular field visits with FMM to ensure full understanding of execution and ensure consistent one GF team approach to customers
  • In conjunction with other departments, management of P&L forecasting
  • Negotiate and manage private label contracts
  • Conduct regular business and category reviews, as appropriate
  • Lead and manage the NPD process, both internally with GF stakeholders and externally with key customers
  • Achieve all financial targets, including volume and margin

About You

  • Key Account Management experience within the FMCG sector, preferably WWNZ.
  • Able to present strong commercial arguments
  • Negotiating ability
  • Have an analytical mindset, able to interpret and present data to drive success - BW, IRI, financial reports are some of the tools we use
  • Strong computer skills - Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to influence internally & develop internal partnerships
  • Organised and good time management skills
  • Self-motivated and solution orientated
  • Ability to deliver business case scenarios and execute on business decisions
