About the role
We are currently seeking a National Business Manager to join our food service team to lead our distributor channel. The NBM will Lead the customer relationship to drive long term profitable growth within the channel, will set the strategy, drive the cross functional teams to deliver, and influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the strategy.

Specifically you will

  • Manage the Senior customer relationships to facilitate the delivery of strategic imperatives
  • Set the 3 year Distributor channel strategy
  • Consistently review the in-year plan, and check and adjust the requirements based on risks and opportunities in order to meet calendar year financial budget
  • Act as coach and mentor to the sales and cross functional teams
  • Lead large complex negotiations, including commercial scenario planning
  • Develop a long-term customer plan/strategy to meet GF objectives in the context of the customers long term strategy and KPI’s

About you

  • 3+ years at National Business Manager position (or similar)
  • Experience within the large distributor network (Bidfoods, Countrywide, PFD etc) preferred
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)
  • Demonstrated experience in line with technical and leadership competencies
  • Experience working with major retailers
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers within FMCG (preferred)
  • Experience managing a team (essential)
