How you will make contributions that matter
Due to team expansion, an exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced National Business Manager to partner with our largest retail customer, Coles. Reporting to our Head of Sales – Coles, you will be responsible for the Speciality Cheese and Deli Cheese portfolios and have the opportunity to grow market leading brands including Tasmanian Heritage, Mersey Valley, South Cape and King Island.
Key elements of your role will include:
- Owning the development and execution of ongoing strategic category development joint business plans with Coles
- Full P&L ownership of the Specialty and Deli cheese category and the strategies to deliver budget targets
- Managing the relationship with the Coles Category Manager and their support team
- Interpreting market data and presenting valuable insights relevant to market, account and category to both internal and external stakeholders
- Owning, developing and continually maintaining forecast planning accuracy
- Managing the demand collaboration process with Coles demand and supply teams
- Working closely with our internal sales administration team for administration support
About you
As a highly commercial and experienced National Business Manager, you will be looking for your next opportunity to drive a complex and dynamic portfolio and possess the following:
- A strong track record as a National Business Manager partnering with Coles, Woolworths or Independents
- A passion for FMCG with proven experience developing, selling in, closing and executing growth strategies
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills with solid negotiation skills
- A driver mindset paired with the desire to pursue initiatives/opportunities
- Astute commercial acumen with an ability to demonstrate creative thinking
- Completion of GAP or equivalent negotiation course highly desirable
