Job Description
We are currently looking for a National Groups & Sales Support Specialist to join our friendly and successful Sales team at Minor Hotels on a part time basis, working 3 days per week (Monday - Friday only).
The National Groups and HUB Specialist is required to convert and coordinate Conference and Accommodation groups into Minor properties across ANZ region. This is actioned through effective management of group and event enquiries, maximizing revenue opportunities. In addition, the role must coordinate and assist all Sales Team Activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years sales administration and customer service experience
  • Previous experience within a Hotel environment will be highly regarded
  • Proven ability to take initiative
  • Highly developed communication and relationship building skills
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously
  • Effective planning and organisational skills
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sales admin tasks as required
  • Daily liaison with sales and revenue team
  • Manage group booking organisers and handover to property.
  • Ensure group organisers are aware of operational policies
  • Support the Revenue, onsite MICE Teams and Sales Team as required.
