Purpose of the Role The National Manager, Talent Acquisition, will be responsible for delivering integrated and innovative talent acquisition solutions aimed at ensuring LifeLabs attracts and acquires top talent to meet current and future business needs. Leading a team of Talent Acquisition specialists, the National Manager TA will build a team that delivers pro-active sourcing, a positive and engaging candidate journey and a seamless and inclusive recruitment process through the utilization of progressive and technology-enabled methods and tools and innovative and agile talent acquisition strategies.
This is an amazing opportunity to work in partnership with HR and business leads across LifeLabs to ensure the talent attraction journey enables our People Strategy and business goals and creates a pipeline of diverse top talent to drive business success.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition function in its delivery of comprehensive and high-quality sourcing, recruiting, and selection, and implement effective and efficient recruiting strategies, processes, and tools while creating an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Proactively work with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify the organization’s current and future talent requirements.
  • Develop, forecast and manage the talent acquisition budget to ensure both short-term and long-term strategies and tactics are properly resourced to ensure talent acquisition objectives are achieved and optimize return on investment.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to enhance the end-to-end candidate journey in alignment with LifeLabs’ vision, values and business goals.
  • Collaborate with key partners to ensure an integrated talent acquisition plan that enables our People Strategy.
  • Develop and deliver a plan to coach internal business leaders on recruitment practices, interview techniques and market trends.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, DEI, Legal, Labour Relations and Talent teams to deliver a talent acquisition plan aligned with People Strategy and Business objectives.
  • Identify, develop and lead recruitment branding strategies focused on increasing LifeLabs’ presence in key talent markets.
  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies for external channels including LifeLabs’ Careers website, LinkedIn and Indeed. Develop materials for external recruitment campaigns and job fairs. Collaborate with Communications, Brand, Culture and Marketing teams to ensure consistent and authentic brand messages.
  • Develop and deliver reporting and KPIs to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of TA and candidate experience.
  • Assess, develop and continuously improve repeatable and scalable recruitment policies, processes, and tools that deliver on LifeLabs’ talent requirements and optimize investments in resources.
  • Stay abreast of new TA technologies and assess for opportunities to leverage technology and innovative approaches to enhance candidate, talent attraction, and hiring manager experience.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing and engaged talent acquisition team who embody LifeLabs vision, values and capabilities.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in talent attraction with experience in full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume and matrixed environment.
  • Prior team leadership experience including the coaching and development of a talent attraction team.
  • Experience developing and implementing a recruitment strategy across multiple business functions or departments.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with leadership to influence talent attraction best practices.
  • A data-focused mindset with experience leveraging data to provide guidance and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of evolving best practices and technologies in the field of talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional communication skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence and execute.
    This is a hybrid role.
    Hiring Range: 92,600 - 118,000
    The hiring range has been established, however, the final salary recommendation will be determined based off the level of experience, education requirement, external market conditions and internal equity.
    In this position, you will be eligible for Lifelabs annual bonus.
