Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Operations Manager to oversee the commercial performance and profitability of the 8 sites within the Heavy Motor network. You’ll shape our strategy, oversee site performance, and cultivate a high-performing team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of profitable sales growth, strategic acumen, a strong safety focus, and an outstanding track record of delivering superior customer service. This position requires someone with commercial and financial expertise who can provide contemporary leadership and coaching across all sites in Wales – Heavy Vehicle Repair sites, fostering a ‘can-do’ attitude and a high-performance team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety Culture: Implement and strengthen safety protocols consistently across all Wales sites.
- Business Strategy: Playing a central role in crafting and implementing long-term business strategy, driving growth, and innovation on a national level
- Service Strategy: Develop and implement a service strategy that differentiates AMA Group in the market.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Team Development: Develop team members through formal and informal training and manage people-related matters in line with AMA standards.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with Finance Manager to prepare budgets, deliver monthly reports, and contribute to business performance evaluations
- Operational Efficiency: Evaluate and refine operational procedures to enhance efficiencies and identify avenues for cost control improvement.
