    Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role As the National Operations Support Manager, play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and excellence across our entire network. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure seamless coordination between departments.
    Dive into a world of analysis, strategic planning, and precision scheduling. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve by ensuring that automated processes are operated effectively through continuous analysis of sortation data and sort plans for continuous improvement of the automated sortation processes.
    The role has sole responsibility nationwide for providing support to the automated processing sites in terms of process excellence and process support to ensure site leaders can achieve their key objectives. This will include being the “product owner” of new and existing software and sort plan management for all automated sorting equipment, process improvement activities and change management for Process and Automation.
    Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is tailor-made for someone who thrives on variety, ready to embrace a schedule that might include early mornings or late afternoons. Why? Because being visible and connected to our incredible teams across different locations is key. Picture yourself as the linchpin, ensuring seamless coordination in our 24/7 operation. As you will oversee regional operations teams, nationwide travel will be required.

Mōu - About you Be the orchestrator of seamless efficiency and unwavering support across our entire network. With your keen eye for detail and your knack for problem-solving, you’re the go-to guru when it comes to optimising processes and driving results. Fuelled by curiosity, you will possess a naturally inquisitive nature, always eager to inquire and explore. A strong technical acumen will be second nature, showcasing proficiency in technical realms such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and Lean organisation. Alongside the above, you’ll couple this with;

  • Proven experience in operations management, with a track record of driving process improvements and achieving measurable results
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Previous experience in the logistics sector is highly desirable
