THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Quality leader to join Goodman Fielder as our National Quality Manager to continue our business on a Quality journey and help us achieve our goal of being best in class. Integral to achieving our goal will be taking a forward thinking, strategic approach and creating a Quality First culture amongst our teams and sites.

Experiences, skillsets and competencies we are looking for include:

• Proven experience in driving Quality outcomes with the ability to influence key, senior stakeholders to embed a cultural shift
• A strategic mindset to build a preventative Quality plan
• Working knowledge of NZ Food Quality standards, preferably with practical experience in the Food Manufacturing industry
• Prior people leadership experience and driving a high-performance tea

• Build a ‘Quality’ culture within the business through the coaching and supporting of the senior leadership team, site managers and site teams
• Work with the Technical team to develop a robust quality program with an aim to both preventative and reactive
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with major customer quality functions e.g. Foodstuffs, Woolworths and key suppliers and service providers
• Develop and drive food safety, regulatory and quality strategies for GFNZ, that result in improved customer complaints and First Time Quality performance across a 3-5 year horizon
• Partner with leaders across Product Development, Operations & Process Development to identify and implement product initiatives to improve quality and food safety
  About you
  In order to make this role a success, we are looking for first and foremost a Leader with a background in Quality who can utilize the Technical team to take the business on a maturity journey to achieve our goals.
