Description:

Position: National Research Infrastructure and Partnerships Coordinator
Location: Flexible (Wallingford, Lancaster, Edinburgh, Bangor, or fully remote)
Salary: £36,245 - £47,827 (dependent on experience)
Fixed Term for 24 months and Full Time (37 hours per week)

The Role:
Working directly with the CEO of UKCEH, as the National Research Infrastructure and Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll collaborate closely with CEOs and Directors of leading research institutes across the UK. Your role will be to develop strategic insights into the challenges and opportunities facing our nation’s critical research infrastructure and world leading institutions. Your work will directly impact how the UK tackles pressing issues and drives innovation across climate change, national security, food security, health inequalities and economic growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct strategic policy analysis of the UK Science and Technology system and its research infrastructure.
  • Develop policy and investment recommendations to support our nation’s scientific ambitions and our use of major scientific institutes and infrastructure.
  • Establish and foster effective partnerships with key stakeholders, including UKRI, industry, and NGOs.
  • Establish and manage a new partnership forum between UKRI research institutes.

Required Skills:

  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across public and research sectors.
  • Strong strategy and analytical skills to understand and address complex challenges.
  • Experience in establishing and managing governance systems.
