Description:

Nova Biomedical is hiring a National Sales Manager to lead our national sales team selling all Nova Biomedical Point of Care products (Glucose, Lactate and Creatinine Meters) to the US acute care market including complex, national, Integrated Health Networks, Teaching Hospitals, Target Hospitals, Government and County facilities. Call points include Hospital C-Level contacts, Clinical specialists in Critical Care, ED, Respiratory, Surgery, Laboratory, and Nursing. Call points also include Corporate IT, Value Analysis Committees, Risk Management, and Patient Safety. Position is responsible to directly contribute, as necessary, to strategic accounts, targeting and closing to achieve market share goals and objectives across the clinical portfolio. This position is accountable for all field sales activity, performance metrics, and coordinated reporting as well as accountable for hiring, developing, and coaching POC Region Managers in order to deliver on national objectives in support of corporate goals. A field team consisting of four regional managers and 21 Account Executives report directly to the National Sales Manager Point of Care. The National Sales Manager, POC will report to the Sr. Director of NA Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, developing, coaching and leading Regional Managers
  • Meet or exceed national sales objectives (quotas) in support of corporate goals
  • Manage, drive and meet all associated corporate sales metrics
  • Act as corporate resource in direct selling situations
  • Large committee presentations in support of strategic sales opportunities
  • Act as a corporate resource in support of corporate accounts strategies and objectives
  • Lead and coordinate field sales activities in support of corporate account strategies and objectives
  • Develop, manage, and execute national business plan
  • Develop, manage and execute leadership, national and regional sales meetings
  • Lead, coordinate and execute special projects as directed

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required and Medical device / capital equipment required with multi-level & Committee sales history
  • 3+ years of directly managing front-line managers of sales representatives with documented success.
  • 5+ years of directly managing sales representatives with documented success.
  • 5+ years of “direct” capital sales experience to hospitals with documented success.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a diverse team
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong, professional presentation skills required
