MINIMUM ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education: Advanced degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial, preferably), applied sciences (mathematics, geography, statistics), economics, environmental sciences, or environmental management administration is required. A Bachelor’s degree plus an additional three years of relevant work experience on top of the minimum requirement may be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree.
Technical and Functional Experience:
- At least three (3) years of work experience in statistical analysis and conducting surveys required.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in any of the following area: geography, energy efficiency, public policies in environment issues.
- Knowledge of the development of surveys/sectorial assessment.
- Knowledge of RAC equipment technology and/or standards.
- Previous experience in stakeholders’ consultation.
- Knowledge of the design of formularies for INEGI censuses.
Experience in database generation/administration and special and geographical analysis (2 projects)Experience in field work (implementing surveys/collecting information)
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English are required.
Responsibilities:
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the Ozone Unit Coordinator and in close cooperation with the project team in the HQ and field location, the expert will be responsible for the performance of the following main duties:
- To conduct a national survey on RAC equipment in commercial sector
- To determine quantity and technical specifications of the RAC devices
- An assessment to propose questions to be included in the National Economic Census developed by INEGI at national level every 5 years (next census will be in 2029).
The following information will be provided by the NOU to the consultant for the purpose of the project:
- Precedent studies related to stock of the HFCs and stock of the RAC equipment estimated by top-down model.
- Databases about substances and RAC equipment in commerc
