The Sales Team Leader - Acquisition will support the Head of Acquisition in leading a team of sales employees to build and execute sales plans to ensure maximum numbers of restaurants are on the Menulog estate within Australia. This may include providing day to day mentoring and assistance to team members, along with helping the Head of Acquisition with administration and reporting requirements as requested. The Team leader will be responsible for ensuring the team, individually and as a group, hit their monthly and annual sales targets.

Responsibilities:

In this role, we’re counting on you to:

  • Working with the TA team to recruit new sales employees as vacancies arise
  • Inducting new employees into the team, ensuring they are set up, trained and ready to succeed
  • Supporting your sales employees on a day to day basis - being a point of contact for day to day queries, helping with processes, assisting with structuring time and sales pitches to ensure your employees are reaching targets
  • Providing sales reporting and monitoring the weekly progress of your sales team
  • Working with HR to investigate and conduct any required disciplinary meetings
  • Conducting performance reviews for the members of your team
  • Creating a collaborative, engaged and motivated team culture
  • Conduct regular training to your employees, incorporating listening in on sales calls or accompanying employees to in field visits with team members, as required
  • Work with relevant internal departments to ensure the team has a clean and fruitful lead list, identifying target areas, cuisines and restaurants
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity
  • Making sales, when required to ensure your team target is hit
  • Efficiently conducting management administration such as ensuring leave is entered and approved, resolving any commission queries, ensuring all paperwork completed etc
  • Ad hoc project work and administrative tasks as requested by the Head of Acquisition
