WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?
- Conduct intakes and assessments with the goal of connecting parishioners and community members to services and resources.
- Work with community partners and parishes to provide resources to clients.
- Build partnerships with area parishes and community partners with the goal of increasing services for people in the community and connecting clients to said services.
- Help clients connect with valuable resources by advocating with community partners and by providing strategic flexible financial assistance as appropriate.
- Refer clients into long-term services through our Working Family Services program and manage a caseload of clients.
- Facilitate office functions such as answering calls, receiving walk in clients, and being present with each individual client.
- Demonstrate excellent administrative, organizational, and professional skills that demonstrate your capability to manage multiple projects.
- Ensure professional delivery of service by assisting in scheduling appointments, making referrals to the case management team and other CCFW programs, and providing resource recommendations.
- Support the data and evaluative needs of our programs by ensuring proper documentation and data input is completed.
- Be efficient in using various software platforms at CCFW including Bloom, Salesforce, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be informed about community resources; maintain current knowledge of practices and issues around poverty and family self-sufficiency.
- Remain informed and updated on internal and external resources available to clients.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential/sensitive information.
