Description:
Carers and Disability Link (CADL) focus on delivering compassionate and personalised care across regional South Australia. Our four offices are based in Nuriootpa, Woodside, Clare and Kadina. CADL support Carers, people with disability, children and young people and people aged over 65 years. With decades of experience, CADL has built a reputation as one of the most trusted and respected community care providers in regional South Australia.
CADL are currently seeking a Support Services Officer (Plan Manager) to join the Support Services Team. You will work closely with NDIS participants, support coordinators, providers, support workers and allied health providers to ensure our participants receive personalised, consistent and professional advice. This position can be based in one of our offices in Woodside, Nuriootpa, Clare or Kadina. We are flexible in this role of between 4 - 5 days per week in the office on a Permanent Part Time or Full Time basis.
This role would suit an experienced Plan Manager or someone with excellent administration skills, the right attitude and an aptitude for numbers.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Advising Participants, with advice and guidance on the NDIS price guide to ensure our clients make informed choices and maximize their funding in accordance with their goals
- Correctly and accurately entering provider invoices into the CRM for claims and payments
- Managing the approval of invoices and submissions to NDIS portal for claims
- Reconciling the payments from the NDIS and generating the payment files
- Investigating failed claims and amending as needed
- Managing participants budgets to ensure no shortfall in funding
- Supporting the Team Leader in relation to internal reporting and analysis
- Maintain current knowledge of the NDIS and plan management and ensure compliance with NDIS legislation
Essential requirements for a Support Services Officer include:
- Exceptional time management and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with technology and experience with CRMs and Microsoft
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in customer / client relationship managementConfidence to work unsupervised
A Certificate III Business Administration (or equivalent) and/or previous experience as a NDIS Plan Manager will be highly regarded, however is not essential.
