We are looking for an NDT Technician to provide a specialist Non-Destructive Testing Service to the Rio Tinto Yarwun refinery.
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and committed individual to join our growing Condition Moniting team. This role is a great opportunity to work within the maintenance strategy to perform various non-destructive testing techniques to monitor plant condition. These include, Ultrasonic Thickness Testing, crack detection and weld inspection. There are opportunities to also work alongside other Condition Monitoring Technicians in Vibration Analysis, Motion Amplification and ROV Operations.

Reporting to the Condition Monitoring Team Leader and working in a diverse team within the Engineering department, you will:

  • Able to produce detailed plant condition reports with relevant standards.
  • Complete routine inspections on all equipment across the site
  • Maintain the refinery’s Non Destructive Testing Reporting Systems and identify changes to the maintenance strategy based on plant condition data.
  • Liaise with engineering team members to establish priorities for work arising from NDT.
