Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Settlement Consultants to join our Negotiating team based in North Lakes. We are looking for people who can achieve cost effective and quality claims handling, form a logical case and ensure a fair outcome is delivered on every claim. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Settlements files within the liability claims department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a portfolio of Liability files
  • Assess liability and recovery potential
  • Negotiate with third parties and insurers.
  • Careful preparation, attention to detail and sound judgement to assess liability
  • Obtain a suitable and quick outcome through effective negotiationApplication of Insurance Contracts Act, Code of Practice and other regulatory authorities
