Description:
We are opening a position of Network and Security Engineer to join the team of our client.
The infrastructure of our client’s headquarters supports a network of 1000 users across 3 sites in the Geneva region, with two WAN extensions internationally, connected via VPN over the internet.
This infrastructure comprises approximately 3000 managed servers, segmented into various security zones, and integrated into a VMware infrastructure. The “field” infrastructure includes over a thousand servers supporting approximately 18000 users worldwide.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Implementation of IT security rules for server environments and new applications
- Participation in the evolution of security in the domains of infrastructure and application architecture of information systems (IS)
- Support for networking (LAN/MAN/WAN/WLAN) and related security
- Strong understanding of complex 3-tier web platform architecture
- Establishment and maintenance of IS security processes.
- Implementation of changes to network and security infrastructure as per Project requests
- Support in resolving application problems related to networking and security
- Integration of new applications into the existing environment, applying defined policies
- Implementation of changes to ICT infrastructure as per Project requests
- Adaptation of management tools, verification of operations in collaboration with the operations team
- Documentation of environments and processes
- Management of defined issues
- Assistance to Support and Operations teams
- More than 2 years of experience in similar domain.
- Additional training in network security.
- Confirmed L3 experience in managing LAN & WAN, WLAN networks.
- Knowledge of LAN and SD-WAN solutions.
- Proficiency in Fortinet solutions.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in networks and security.
- Experience in authentication mechanisms like ADFS, Kerberos, etc.
- Experience in anti-spam, anti-virus, web access security, SMTP Gateway, web application firewall.
- Excellent understanding of network protocols, Firewall rules, and network security best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft environments: AD, ADFS.
- Knowledge of VMWare NSX solution.
- Knowledge of MS Azure Cloud services.
- Familiarity with F5 Big-IP solutions.
- French and English required
