Description:
The Network and Systems Engineer is a high performing role within the IPSS team. This role has people, program and stakeholder management responsibilities. They work with a considerable degree of independence and under broad direction. You will develop, operate and maintain the ACMA’s network infrastructure environments, ensuring support standards are met. Deliver a range of services using Cisco’s ecosystem and integration with other Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and services. Design and implement good practice solutions in alignment with the whole of government cyber security overlay and compliance with the Essential 8. You will provide expert engineering guidance and leadership within one or more technology domains, monitor and manage network services provided by third party providers, support and troubleshoot network issues within a software defined network framework and develop and maintain standard operating procedure documents for the ACMA’s network environment.
