LET’S CREATE A MORE SOCIABLE FUTURE TOGETHER

At Endeavour, we’re totally into what we do. With a portfolio that includes Dan Murphy’s, BWS, ALH Hotels, Pinnacle Drinks and more, we love to bring people together. Together we share our passion for our products and industry; it’s what inspires us to dream big, and continue to create new experiences for our customers and teams across Australia. If you thrive on positive energy, we want to meet you!

Job Description

  • Bring your passion and feel the energy
  • Be part of a large scale transformation project
  • Work for industry leading companies

With a focus on network architecture and management technologies to provide stable, flexible, and performative platforms, you will play a key role in establishing best practices and designing architectural solutions across a range of cloud and on-premise environments across our retail, hotels, and internal team services, many with very high volume B2C customer traffic.
You will work with a wide mix of technologies, applying the best architectural approaches to your domain. You will architect solutions by considering the whole domain which will encompass: client, server, storage, identity, integration, load balancing, automation, etc.
Your expertise across Networks/Cloud/Infrastructure/Cyber will enable you through collaboration, to evaluate, recommend, and gain agreement for the right technologies and approaches for roadmap development and project delivery. You will be an evangelist for Endeavour’s governance processes, proposing, delivering, and reviewing solution designs for conformance to technology strategy, privacy and cyber security guidelines, and apply technical debt where appropriate.
Solution implementation requires close collaboration with service manager, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and performative environment, and you will provide technical leadership and mentorship to other architects and delivery teams
Endeavour encompasses industry leading brands within retail & hospitality, alongside manufacturing services, wineries, and other specialty related businesses and services.
Deep Network, Cloud (Azure & GCP), Security, and Infrastructure experience and industry knowledge is essential.
Sound good? Read on.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Architecture Development: Develop the cloud architecture services, inclusive of the infrastructure, networks and security in alignment with the broader enterprise architecture team practice and its operating and governance processes.

  • Define and design the network architecture to allow platforms and business solutions to meet the identified organisational needs within the overarching program roadmap and program architecture, and act as the technical implementation lead for the program and for each related program initiative and/or stream.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with the internal program and project resources; such as other program and solutions architects, developers and development teams to develop and then implement proposed enterprise-wide network/cloud, inclusive of infrastructure, and security architectures and solutions within agreed timeframes, ensuring the architectures align with the organisations’ enterprise-wide process, rules and standards.
  • Liaise with third parties and other vendors and act as the lead technical representative for the networks and broader infrastructure initiatives advocating architectural outcomes, advising third parties and vendors on data and information architecture business systems, and solutions utilisation and adoption.
  • System Integration: Design and implement architecture business solutions to connect various systems and applications, ensuring seamless interoperability amongst the Endeavour Group and potentially Woolworths Limited (WOW).
  • Performance Optimisation: Identify performance bottlenecks and architectural weaknesses, and propose solutions to optimise system performance and scalability.
  • Risk Management: Assess technical risks associated with proposed business solutions and provide mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of cloud architectures to technical solutions with business objectives and requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines.

  • Facilitating the adoption of target-state architectures, aligned across the enterprise where applicable, including conducting assessments of application designs for alignment with architectural principles and guardrails throughout project life cycles
  • Autonomously diagnose and resolve architecture and integration issue, and look at ways to enhance application performance and security through enterprise-level solutions
