- Plan, coordinate and provide project support to partner YWCAs through the execution of project plans with clear timelines, and cross-functional collaboration to the YWCA Hamilton team to successfully delivers on stated outcomes and expected deliverables;
- Plan, coordinate and host high-impact networking events and meet-ups for women entrepreneurs, including national events with partner YWCAs;
- Facilitates community outreach, intake and recruitment for PowerUP Network programming;
- Serve as a resource in the recruitment of new entrepreneurs and managing communication with current and former entrepreneurs;
- Nurtures and maintains relationships with entrepreneurs, partners, and volunteers;
- Promotes and markets the PowerUP program, working with the YWCA marketing department;
- Able to take direction and complete tasks on tight deadlines;
- Submit program expenses, ensuring each program component meets budget parameters outlined in the collaboration agreement.
- Provide regular updates to YWCA Hamilton and team members regarding spending and budget status;
- Collects, reviews and evaluates programming results including success stories from partner YWCAs and shares program outcomes with project lead;
- Adheres to appropriate systems to ensure monitoring of projects and initiatives in compliance with work schedules, outcomes and participantrequirements;
- Understands emerging trends, leading practices, industry professionalstandards;
- Supports YWCA Hamilton mission, vision and values • Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an undergraduate degree, preferable in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Education or in a related field or a combination of related work and academic experience;
- Superior technology skills and experience using MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Zoom, Canva and Social Media;
- Experience working with external stakeholders and an understanding of the importance of growing those relationships;
- Passion for inclusive entrepreneurship and developing the economic prosperity of women;
- Must be focused, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented;
- Must be able to navigate online video conferencing software to implement programming and provide participant support;
- Must have group facilitation and event management experience;
- Established ability to work well with diverse individuals in a wide variety of positions;
- Must provide a current Criminal Record Judicial Matters Police check or willingness toobtain at own cost;
- Must have current Emergency First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain at own cost;
- Must be able to work from a feminist, anti-racist/anti-oppressive perspective;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Bilingual English/French or other languages an asset.
