Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting to the Manager Asset Insights, the Network Digitisation Program Development Manager oversees the scoping, development and management of Ausgrid’s Network Digitisation Program. This program aims to create a more efficient and safer electricity network by developing Ausgrid’s digital twin capabilities to enhance the value and accessibility of our asset information. You will manage all aspects of delivery and business integration ensuring success of projects and delivery by partners, by proactively managing risk, resources and constraints.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the scoping, design and development of the Network Digitisation Program including developing long term roadmaps and delivery strategies
- Developing, allocating, and monitoring potential delivery models to ensure appropriate delivery method for individual programs and tasks, within the overall delivery strategy
- Plan all aspects of the program and proactively manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and manage risk
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Degree in Engineering or similar field; or eligible for Professional Membership of Engineers Australia; or an Advanced Diploma in Engineering and significant experience gained in a large, complex engineering environment
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment of monopoly utilities, and an understanding of the requirements for project governance and development within that environment, such as but not limited to determinations of the Australian Energy Regulator, Work Health and Safety Act and Network Standards
- Knowledge of digital twin technologies and their application in the built environment, ideally in distributed networks such as energy or water.
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing cross functional programs
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and relevant discipline software
- Demonstrated capacity to consult and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including presentation and document writing skills
- Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive or personal matter
