NETWORK ENGINEER (12-MONTH FIXED-TERM)

As a network engineer you will be involved in implementing, updating, and maintaining our networks to ensure optimal performance. You will be responsible for conducting performance and monitoring best practices to ensure reliability, supportability, and serviceability of our networks. You will create and maintain documentation for processes.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Implement new technologies and updates to current solutions
- Create internal documentation, detailing complex administrative and operational information as well as common actions for various services
- Work on day-to-day performance of network tasks including firewall requests and routing switching to ensure network reliability, accountability, and serviceability within minimal interruptions
- Plan and execute hardware and software installations while working collaboratively with other engineers
- Promote existing processes and best practices to other cross-functional teams
- Actively participate in the sprint process and contribute to backlog prioritization
