DV Cleared Network Support Engineer required to help our client ensure network services are maintained and up to date. Acting as a Senior network Engineer/Network Support consultant you will have strong Juniper or Cisco skills, Routers/Firewalls, LAN/WAN and strong Security principles experience. This long term contract role will give you board technical networking experience. The role will involve undertake a defined range of Network engineering design, development, and test activities. Resolving any loss of service due to hardware or software issues.

Reviewing, daily, the status of the core network, logging incidents where appropriate. Escalating, in advance, to the Network Manager any likely breaches of agreed deadlines. Working with customers, project leads, third parties and other stakeholders to discuss technical service issues assisting with the resolution of said issues.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on network technologies.
Working to assist with capacity and availability management of the network.
Problem Solving: investigate and resolve problems for services within their own area of responsibility. Provisioning network services and devices where appropriate.
