The Infrastructure Department is a vital part of our company, serving as the foundation upon which all data center and office operations rest. Our team consists of dedicated Infrastructure and Network Engineers who specialise in maintaining and enhancing the company’s data processing centers and office infrastructures.
We have a brand new job opportunity for a savvy Network Engineer. The ideal person will have at least 5 years of work experience and a passion for setting up and developing computer networks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer
  • CISCO certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CCDA)
  • Experience with AWS and network emulators/simulators (Cisco PT, GNS3, EVE NG)
  • Expertise in networking (Cisco), local networks, and data centers
  • Strong knowledge of Debian-based and RedHat-based OS, FreeBSD
  • Experience with virtualization systems (Proxmox) and active network equipment (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Arista)
  • Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and VPN services (OpenVPN, IPSec, WireGuard).

Responsibilities:

  • Data Center Maintenance: We ensure the stability and efficiency of servers, networks, operating systems, and virtualisation environments in the data centers. Our expertise in virtualisation and network administration plays a crucial role in managing these resources effectively.
  • Office Infrastructure Support: Beyond the data centers, we are responsible for the network and infrastructure within the company’s offices. This includes maintaining video surveillance, access control systems, Network Attached Storage (NAS), server equipment, corporate VPN, and network access controls.
  • Monitoring and Metrics: We collect and analyse a vast array of metrics to monitor infrastructure health and performance, using advanced monitoring tools to stay ahead of potential issues.
  • Emergency Response and Support: The team operates on an on-call basis, providing immediate assistance and support whenever needed, ensuring that we maintain high availability and reliability 24/7.
