MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THIS JOURNEY
We are looking for a Network Specialist to join our Data Center Engineering and Network Technology team dedicated to providing a reliable foundation for our services and the platform. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work in close partnership with your team, the wider DevOps team and the Engineering department you will help us break down language barriers.
In this role, you and the other team members will have primary responsibility for operating our Data Centers’ Network using modern DevOps tools, automation and classic administration methods.
You will be responsible for hardware, network operating systems and services that we provide in a growing environment. You will work (remotely) on our production services as well as our high-performance machine-learning clusters in multiple sites. Your work will involve coordinating staff on-site, and you will be able to visit the sites from time to time.
You will join a team of broadly skilled engineers who will be able to support and kick-start your projects.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain and monitor the network environment using our automation stack
- Maintain, improve and extend our automation stack (Golang, Templating)
- Contribute to the ongoing renewal and optimization of our sites according to our architectural plans
- Troubleshooting physical and logical networking issues on routers, switches and Linux hosts
- Working with multiple hardware vendors and a world-class, high-performance environment
- Coordinate the work of remote hands in our Data Centers
- For more complex tasks, you may travel to the data centers to work on-site
- Collaborate with team members on larger work
- After sufficient training, you will be part of our 24/7 on-call rotation (paid extra)
