QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of Network Engineer, Network Administration or relevant consulting experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Travel up to 20%

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations
  • Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
  • Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems
  • Replacing faulty network hardware components when required
  • Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications
  • Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
  • Operating master consoles to monitor and performance of networks and computer systems
  • Coordinating computer network access and use
  • Designing, configuring and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software
  • Perform project tasks independently and may lead workstreams, directing the efforts of others

  • Provides coaching to junior staff
  • Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
