FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

EdgeUno is looking for a highly motivated and capable Network Engineer to be responsible for setting up computer network, maintaining them, and offering technical support to users where necessary ensuring the functional management of our network, the delegation of tasks, and the resolution of network issues.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Systems and Networks, Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering or similar fields.
  • Experience in similar position.
  • Experience using Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • English Level B2+ is a requirement.
  • Hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and/or Networks with Juniper routers.
  • Expertise in MPLS network configurations, including solid knowledge in MPLS-TE.
  • Experience collaborating with different vendors like Arista, Cisco, Extreme, Fortinet, Juniper and several others in a professional services role.
  • Knowledge Security, QoS, and DWDM concepts and technologies.
  • Network traffic analysis and troubleshooting experience.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Juniper or Cisco certifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, testing, and documenting equipment/network systems.
  • Overseeing the performance of day-to-day tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with minimal interruption.
  • Hands-on experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting and/or Networks with Juniper routers
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Participating in network upgrade or expansion projects, including logical installation of hardware, software, and integration testing.
  • Documenting installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of hardware or software.
  • Troubleshoot & support networking concepts and protocols such as: VLAN, L2VPN, VRF, MPLS, RSVP-TE, OSPF, and BGP routing.
  • Support existing networks and perform upgrades as needed.
  • Performing network routing, cabling, and switching activities.
