  They currently require a Network Engineer to facilitate the smooth operation of the network infrastructure, in the data centers and other regional locations. You will join a global team who develop, design and integrate network solutions using cutting-edge technology, setting the gold standard in project engineering at sea, on land or in the air.

Key Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure in the data centers and other regional locations, working together with the Global team.
• Take care of the continuous development and expansion of the existing network infrastructure (UTMs, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, leased lines).
• Support the development, planning and implementation of customer-specific projects.
• Support your colleagues with customer inquiries as part of 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Be in charge of our globally networked communication systems.

Key Skills & Experience Required by the Network Engineer:

• Successful completion of an apprenticeship in the field of IT or have professional experience in network administration as a career changer.
• Very good knowledge in the area of network administration and planning, for the areas of responsibility WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls and UTMs.
• Experience in the administration of network components from Cisco (e.g. Cisco CCNA, CCNP or comparable) (Desirable).
• Knowledge of Cisco CUBE or ideally have initial experience in the field of BGP.
• Knowledge of common technologies and manufacturers (e.g. MS Windows Server, MS Hyper-V, HPE servers and HPE switches, VoIP, SBC, DNS, E-Mail Flow and SSL certificates).
• Good knowledge of German and English languages.
