JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Network Design: Planning and designing computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs).
• Implementation: Installing and configuring network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware devices.
• Network Security: Implementing security measures to protect the network from cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Network Monitoring: Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving network problems, such as connectivity issues, configuration errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Upgrades and Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, hardware upgrades, and system backups.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other IT professionals, such as system administrators, security analysts, and software developers, to ensure the smooth operation of the network.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Strong in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and routing protocols
• CCNA, CCNP certificates are add advantages
