Description:
As a Network Engineer at Luxfactory, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems while providing expert-level support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage and maintain SSL & IPSEC VPNs for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- Implement and manage filtering rules for network security and access control.
- Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 network incident management support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and optimize performance.
- Perform VPN configuration and troubleshooting for clients and internal systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in network engineering and security.
- CCNA Routing & Switching certification required; CCNP certification preferred.
- Expertise in network and security management principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with SSL & IPSEC VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to implement and manage filtering rules for network security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Experience with network documentation tools and software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry-standard network protocols and technologies.
- Valid work permit in Luxembourg is required.
