Description:

As a Network Engineer at Luxfactory, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems while providing expert-level support to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manage and maintain SSL & IPSEC VPNs for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
  • Implement and manage filtering rules for network security and access control.
  • Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 network incident management support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and optimize performance.
  • Perform VPN configuration and troubleshooting for clients and internal systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in network engineering and security.
  • CCNA Routing & Switching certification required; CCNP certification preferred.
  • Expertise in network and security management principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SSL & IPSEC VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to implement and manage filtering rules for network security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Experience with network documentation tools and software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard network protocols and technologies.
  • Valid work permit in Luxembourg is required.
