Network Engineer

NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Network Engineer. In this position, you will have a key role in the management of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, install and manage the overall network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN);
• Lead network and telecom projects, ensuring top-tier performance and security, and reliable operation;
• Detect, investigate, manage and resolve the network related problems/issues in prior to SLA;
• Participate in change process: install, configure network software’s and hardware’s even at out of business time or occasionally at weekends;
• Advise possible solutions on network infrastructure solutions to projects/squads’ requirements following the NN standards;
• Working in strong cooperation with external support companies, and with international IT departments;
• Participate in the audit procedures;
• Develop and maintain technical documentation;

What matters to us

• Engineering degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience;
• 5-8 years’ strong hands-on experience as network engineer;
• ITIL and CCNA knowledge;
• Fluent English (both written and spoken);
• Open-minded, proactive attitude, good communication skills;
• Good trouble solving skills. Ability to work both independently and in team;
• Strong Routing and Switching experience (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VPC, VLAN traffic engineering);
• Proficiency with firewall policies, router ACLs and network security concepts;

Advantages

• Knowledge of Check Point firewall administration, Networking protocols VoIP, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Controller based WiFi technologies, Nessus monitoring
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS and scripting, Cisco Prime Infrastructure
