Network Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science

The person should have network engineer experience with the following skills and competencies:

• Knowledge and experience on IP addressing and subnetting
• Experience with team/people management with strong leadership skills
• Experience with coordinating with multiple vendors for network deployment and project management
• Strong understanding of various network technology products of Cisco/Nexus Routers, Cisco/Nexus Switches and Wireless technology
• Experience in supporting Load Balancers [LTM, GTM]
• Basic knowledge of Firewalls [Juniper, Palo Alto, Checkpoint etc.]
• Experience in supporting Cisco Data Center and Cisco ACI environments
• Knowledge in scripting and automation [Python, Linux, Ansible etc.]
• Knowledge and experience in using network management systems, i.e. SolarWinds, Nagios, Netbrain, Kibana etc.
• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
• Ability to work independently
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Meticulous, dateline oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent level in networking is an advantage.
• Prior experience within network engineering is a bonus.
• The person would be expected to report to domain owner of network department and work as a team member in the network team.

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
